Advent, Christmas, Epiphany at St. Mary's

Where there is darkness, let us bring light  

The holidays can be hectic.  Come spend Advent, Christmas and Epiphany with us and let us together learn how to sow light where there is darkness.  We have prepared worship services and events that focus on the light and peace that comes into the world on Christmas day.  Please join us.

Saturday, november 29 and Sunday, November 30 - Advent One

  • Evening worship, Saturday, November 29th at 5:00 p.m. 
  • Sunday morning worship November 30th at 10:00 a.m.

Wednesday, December 3rd - family dinner and Advent Wreath Making

  • All ages will join together for dinner and then we will make Advent wreaths. 
  • Supplies and instructions will be provided.
St. Mary's winter lights will be turned on in the evening to wish everyone a holy and peaceful Advent.

 

saturday, December 6 and Sunday, December 7 - Advent two

  • Evening worship Saturday, December 9 at 5:00 p.m.
  • Bites and Beverages - an intergenerational gathering, on the first Saturday of every month,  with wine, soda, cider and delicious nibbles.  At 6:00 p.m. (right after the 5 p.m. service).
  • Sunday morning worship December 10th at 10:00 a.m.

Saturday, December 13 and Sunday, December 14 - advent three

  • Evening worship Saturday, December 14 at 5:00 p.m.
  • Sunday morning worship, December 15 at 10:00 a.m. 

Saturday, December 20 and sunday, december 21 - advent four

  • Evening worship, Saturday, December 21 at  5:00 p.m. 
  • Sunday morning worship, December 22 at 10:00 a.m.

Tuesday, December 24 - Christmas Eve

  • Christmas Eve services will be at 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.  Both services will offer a sermon, Holy Communion, glorious Christmas music, and St. Mary's Choir.  

Wednesday, December 25 - christmas day

  • Christmas Day service at 9:00 a.m.  

sunday, december 28 - christmas one

  • A Service of Christmas Lessons and Carols - Sunday morning worship at 10:00 a.m.
  • A Festive Coffee Hour following the service.

Saturday, January 4, 2025 and sUNDAY, jANUARY 5, 2025 - Epiphany

  • Evening Worship, January 3, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. followed by a festive Wine and Cheese get together.
  • Sunday morning worship January 4, 2025 at 10:00 a.m.
